Browser Market Share: Google Chrome Up Mozilla Firefox Down


Google Inc.’s browser Google Chrome and Apple Inc.’s browser Safari market share have been increasing continuously while the market share of Mozilla Firefox and Opera browser have been continuously falling down  since from few months.


More than 53 percent users still preferred the Microsoft Inc.’s Internet Explore as a major browser, however Internet Explorer’s market share has been droped by 7 percent from 60.48% to 53.68% within one year. A rival to Internet Explorer Mozilla Firefox’s, market share has also decreased to 21.67% from 22.9% according to netmarketshare.




Wheareas Google Chrome has seen significant rise in market share. Google Chrome’s users has been nearly doubled in last one year. Google Chrome market share has increased from 7.5% to 13.11%. Apple Safari’s market share has also increased from 5.15% to 7.48%. Meanwhile Opera market share has been dropped from 2.36% to 1.73%.
